A girlfriend of mine is seriously considering becoming a stripper, now that she moved to CA and realized that with all the restrictions and 6ft rules here it isn't scary. It is hardly even stripping..god I miss the stripclubs in Hawaii. Anyway she asked me (don't know why me) about how taxes would work for strippers? Since they get paid in cash what would be a reasonable amount of money to claim as income? Does she have to send a check to the IRS herself at the end of every month, or just one big check at the end of the year? Can she deduct dancing related fees e.g. house fees, dj tips, bar tips, bouncers tips etc?
p.s. mods, if this is the wrong forum feel free to move it. |

The portion of money she spends on marijuana is tax deductible.

She should claim enough to support her lifestyle. I'm sure the other girls will be able to give her pointers.
