Default PT statistics of a Losing player - comments please

I have reproduced my PT stats taken from my play at the $3/6 limit. My play has improved lately but I am still a loser to the tune of about half a BB/100. I think (from looking at my stats) that my main leaks are my play from the Blinds as well as overplaying Big Slick and to a lesser degree AJ. Could a few of you gurus take a look and tell me what you think?

cheers

LB

Game Level: $3/6 Limit
Total Hands: 6455
Vol put $ in the Pot: 15.62
Vol put $ in from SB: 22.79
Folded SB to Steal: 86.52
Folded BB to Steal: 65.87
Att. to Steal Blinds: 25.35
Won $ WSF: 37.60
Amount Won: ($230.15)
BB/100 Hands: (0.59)
Went to SD: 32.82
Won $ At SD: 56.04
PF Raise: 7.02

Position Stats (Vol Put in Pot/CC PF/Net Amount):
Button: 14.46/2.14/174.75
1: 13.46/0.85/(13.50)
2: 13.54/0.58/315.75
3: 13.67/0.43/352.95
4: 15.17/0.29/237.50
5: 15.01/0.45/347.00
6: 11.07/0.00/28.50
7: 14.69/0.00/34.00
BB: 19.74/0.00/(1507.66) *758.34
SB: 22.79/0.00/(199.44) *546.56

*Diff w/o Blinds

Hmm, not so sure about my call on my Blind play now. It would seem that the amount paid in Blinds is the main contributor to these results. Perhaps I'm just not making enough in the other positions?

As you already know, your shorthanded play likely needs improvement. In my opinion

--Fold SB/BB to steal should be 10 points lower
--Att to steal blinds should be 10 points higher
--PFR should go up with your Att to steal/defend blinds

Are you open raising QTo/QJo/JTo type hands from CO? Ax from button? KJo from mp? Defending T9 in BB? Just some examples.

Seriously though, it's hard to believe that someone with your stats should be losing. Full ring limit holdem just plain sucks these days without good game selection.

I've just compared your stats to mine, and although I play at the 2/4 level (actually moving up to 3/6 tonight) our stats are almost identical. However my BB/100 is 2.77. Now the stats that differ are : VPIP - mine 22.17%, yours 15.62%, and Folded BB to Steal - mine 42.42%, yours 65.87%.

So, looking at these stats it seems you might be playing slightly to tight and also folding to a BB steal to often.

However I have only just moved over to party poker so have only recorded 2K worth of hands, which means I could be way of the mark.

Hope this helps.

You need to steal and defend more blinds, basically. Play some shorthanded and get some practice in late position situations.

problem is, 6400 hands is not enough of a sample to determine what you are really doing. get to more like 60K or 600K and post this, otherwise it is really pretty pointless.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. In short it seems like need to loosen up a little in the Mid and Late Positions. And according to at least one of you I should also defend my blinds more often. These leaves me with 2 questions:

1. In loosening up in MP and LP (a little) I assume you guys mean only when there has been no Raises to my right. You are not suggesting I should Cold Call more often. Is this correct?
2. How sure are you that I should defend my blinds more often? I only ask this because after looking at the stats provided in the thread, as shown by Xmas, my statistics out of the blinds look pretty standard.

Thank you once again.

Play some more hands. You're too tight.

What's your AF? I didn't see it there...
