are you doing the same with As instead of Ts?(more of a question of where you are drawing the line)

I'd prefer to check behind on the turn and call/bet on the river.

I think there is a good chance he has a bigger spade here and if he doesnt, he probably isnt paying 2 bets to take it to showdown.

I agree.

And given that you bet this turn, I think I like a c/call (or even a c/fold???) on the river much better than b/fold. What reasonable hands to you have value against? Is he calling here w/ a big 2 pair?

Dean,
I agree with this and I think we will see a full house more than the nut spade w/ this line. The As will usually bet the turn IMO in order to not miss a bet against a flopped lower flush/set.

maybe he doesn't think hero will fold and he wants to get paid off on his A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A or A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J or AQ/AK[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], or maybe he has A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K and wants to freeroll against another AK. Granted, his not raising the turn with these hands would be strange.
