Trip Report: Schick Quattro
On SlickDeals or Ben's Bargains or something they had a free Schick Quattro deal, so I signed up and received it in the mail the other day.
For those who don't know, it's this:  Before shaving, I usually use a facewash that has a bunch of rocks in it and [censored] to smooth out my face. St. Ives facewash or something... Here, found a pic:  I typically used a Gillette Mach 3 Power electrified one, with the optional vibrating blades - which is surprisingly good, if not a bit scary the first time you use it:  I used standard shaving gel for both tests. The Schick Quattro, I felt, did a much better a cleaner job of shaving and removing the hair in all places in one quick stroke. I find myself having to restroke using the Mach 3 Power blades, often without the vibrating function on. All in all, despite the 4 blades of death and the spring holding them in place, the Quattro gets 4.5 out of 5 stars for me.

Yeah, I dont know about the quattro or whatever but the Mach 3 is nice. The Fusion is ghey. I used the fusion right when it came until about a week ago because it gave me too close a shave and then I got like 5 ingrown hairs. My skill is just returning to its beatiful normality now...so yeah, dont use the fusion unless you know how to shave ,but I clearly dont.

Am I the only one that thinks that the more blades a razor has the more it sucks? Anything above two blades and the razor just gets cloged full of hair that dont want to come out. I prefer a razor with two blades which im able to control rather then four or five that may or may not hit my face at the right angle or with the right pressure. Any other hairy guys out there that prefer the more traditional two-blade razor?
