Default If you don\'t go broke playing a set...

With the exception of a four to the flush board, I've been following the maxim, "If you don't go broke playing a set you're not playing it right." Is this best practice?

When I look at my PT numbers, I see I win about 70 percent of the time with "3 of a kind" but, of course, it doesn't separate sets from trips so I think, when sets are isolated, it would always be +EV over time to play them to the hilt. Is this what you guys do too? Am I being too siimple minded on the issue?
