Takes a whole 20 seconds, and it automatically sends it for you.

You can use what they already wrote, or write your own statement. Doing something custom would probably get more noticed.

This may already be in the Poker Legislation section, but many people never go beyond the ZOO, so this is important enough to be bumped.

Click the link below and go fill out a quick form to send an email to your local congressmen telling them exactly how feel (i.e. how much you hate) the current anti-gambling bills. If you're lazy, you can just use the form email they already created.

I'm one of the laziest people I know, and I still thought it was important enough to get off my duff (metaphorically) and go send the letter.

What are you waiting for, CLICK ME ALREADY!!

I've e-mailed my congressmen and gotten two responses back saying that they support the anti-gambling bill. Now what?

Well at least you tried. It does have an affect. They may support it but if enough people write them, it might sway their mind in the other direction.

I've gotten the same thing in Florida. I'm going to email him today and tell him good luck getting reelected.

I was too lazy to vote last time but this lone issue has changed my mind. It won't do anything, but I'll feel cool.

Because you know for sure that the opposition supports online gambling?

You are aware that all the anti poker laws had the purpose of protecting fish against himself.

In most coutries, before the law took effect they had experts (people they trusted) analize the game and asked if they meant it was hasard. The verdict was always the same, poker is not hasard and yet, poker was forbidden all the same.

The problem was (and still is) that it is addictive like hell and therefor extremely dangerous for fish finances. It destroys lifes if not controlled.

You might find congressmen not wanting to take side yet, but I doubt you will ever find one dumb enough to say something positive about gambling (ok, maybe in Nevada, but they are all lunatics over there already).
