Anyone do well at sattelites? Record your results?

Big MTT donk here, I love playing them, but I really can't justify spending any money on them because I'm pretty bad. I'm ok at sngs, and thought that single table sattelites might be the way to go. Played a few and won two of them, and 2nd in another where 2nd is about twice your buy in. They seemed to play a little like the similar priced sngs, but with more wild crazies at the beginning.

Anyone here play a lot of sattelites and if so what kind of stats you got? A cheap way to enter mtts, or just a waste of time?
