Default Is this a call?

This was the FT of a league game for another forum I post at FTR. The money is not an issue to me (it was a $10 buy in) but the points are. I'm currently in second place a little more than halfway through the season and if I win this game, I'll be almost tied for first.

Now this hand comes up and I took a lot of heat for making this call. I feel that he's so short that he could be pushing with almost any two in this spot since the BB will commit him to the pot next hand. I'm wondering what you guys think.

1563 to call 3013, about 2-1.

Well based on what he said, I will put him on 2 paints.

Ts 3d 523903 30.60 1176112 68.69 12289 0.72 0.310
Ks Jh 1176112 68.69 523903 30.60 12289 0.72 0.690

If you only care about moving up, I would call this. YOu are risking less then 10% of your stack to knock a player out. I you lose you are still in the game.

Its not a bad call but not really all that great.

I fold knowing I am behind, and not wanting to double this guy up.

is he sitting to your left or your right? looks like your getting about 3:1, if he's to your right and think that you can get your chips back if you lose, then I don't see a problem with it.

I would call too. It' about a tenth of your stack. Getting 2:1 with ten ain't too bad.
