The best things to read in my opinion, from best to worst, are

1. This forum.
2. Small Stakes Hold'em.
3. Theory of Poker.

Another book that I found interesting was Winning Low Limit Hold'em by Lee Jones. Although if I was forced to choose the one I found the most helpful for low limit hold'em, I would pick Small Stakes Hold'em by Ed Miller.

To become a well rounded player you also need to study HPFAP.

True, but the downfall to that book is alot of its material is
harder to pull off against opponents that have no idea what is going on. Dont get me wrong it is an excellent book for advanced players for middle limit games. From my experience at the low limit tables players barely look beyond the two cards they are holding and the board (ignoring situations if the board has a 4 flush they will see that)
