Default River Decision w/ Set

Were playing 2/4 Full Ring and both players have stacks of 400$. Villain is definately solid, showing stats of 15/3.

Two EP limpers and I pop it up to 18$ from MP with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Both limpers call.

Flop comes down T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Ep checks, Villain leads into me for 25$, I pop it to 70$, he calls.

Turn T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet 120$, he calls pretty quickly.

River T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He goes all in for 200$ into the 440$ pot. ???

Fold because you're going to make a results oriented post on 2p2 and waste 30 seconds of my precious life.

I think you have to call. I can't see him playing a runner, runner flush draw this way (Although maybe he would with A6c or A8c). I also don't think that 9,7 is very likely, given the healthy pre-flop raise you made. More likely he was trapping with 88 or 66 and thinks he is making a value bet on the river.

15/3 is solid? pretty much a weak tight nit even at FR. i don't see how you ever fold this getting >3:1 when only one hand beating yours makes any sense.

ok glad to see you would all call too. I'm going through one hell of a downswing and am starting to doubt all my plays. Sometimes you just need to double check yourself.

Anyway, I did call figuring he'll have a set or some really strangely played hand at least 1/3rd of the time rather than 97 or some backdoor flush.

And BillyJex I'm sure your face is extremely ugly to look at and your time is in reality not in the least bit valuable. But hey, don't be results oriented about it.
