Default ***Official party update thread***

I have no idea what they updated. I am going to try and find out. It just happened right now at 240AM PST, so I thought I might have the honors of starting the first thread on it.

I hope this update fixes my doom switch. And the issue with late tournament starts. Oh yea, and the rest of the garbage that's wrong with that software.

I doubt it.

Allow me to show you the geniuses that run party.

One of the points that was bitched about when they first made the major upgrade, was the table filters weren't customizable. I.E., you change the settings, including column widths, go view a different game's list and come back, and only the seats are still filtered (10 vs 6), but the column setting widths revert back to default. And everytime you log off none of your settings were saved.

This is especially a problem in pot limit omaha because they add an extra column for game type which is real wide because the whole thing, "pot limit omaha hi/lo" is spelled out, and it pushes the pot average column off the viewing area. So you have to shorten the width of the game type, but that still didn't do it, because the default width of the pot average column was too narrow and you then had to expand it. And of course as mentioned above, if you left and them came back, you had to do that all over again.

So now those geniuses in this upgrade shortened the game type listings to just "hi" and "hi/lo". BUT, they left the default column width the same wide width as before which means you STILL have to go through the above [censored] to see the pot averages.

And this isn't just a programming failing, but one of management and testing.
