Are there any sites that post results about just the major tournaments, and possibly any info about them. I have been to both thepokerdb, and tournamentreporter, but are there any sites where I could find out info/bios regarding the players who have won the major tournaments?

what do you mean by major tournaments? Are you talking live tournaments or online tournatments? This question is vague

Online tournaments. Are there any sites that record the results for say the big Sunday tournaments and any other major tournaments, and then give information, kind of like the bios of the ranked players on pocket fives. A new co-worker mentioned that he/his room mates won 200k in an online tournament, and was wondering if there is any way I could confirm this assuming I could never talk to him again?

yes there are a couple of sites that publish tourney results;

www.texasholdem.com is creating an objective ranking system using large online tournament results. I am not sure if they publish the results of individual tourneys but you can check.

they rank the players that have big results in the tournaments you're asking about.. and they give weekly reviews about who won the big weekend events and such.

uh... good luck, it's not like people do interviews after they win a big online tourney

I think this site have a pretty good ranking system, based just in the big online tournaments. Check their criteria.

This is the best reply yet for sure(no sarcasm), didn't realize how little of a deal these online tournaments are... I suppose I'll just ask him about it.
