spentrent\'s rough guide to curveball
1) Your paddle is transparent! Learn to watch the ball through the paddle.
2) Practice placing the ball in the corner. Hit it where they ain't. 3) Serve with slight spin on ball in Levels 1 through 4. You can easily ace the villain by serving into the corner. 4) Don't serve with spin on the ball in Levels 7 through N. 5) Plan your kill shots in Levels 7 through N. Villain will return most unplanned spin shots with more spin and more acceleration than you can handle. 6) Anticipate your paddle placement. Don't follow the ball's trajectory as it comes back to you. 7) Try to restrict your shots (defensive returns AND kills) to one bounce. 8) Don't get too fancy in Levels 4/5/6. 2+ bounces accelerate the ball and make the villain's kill shots as effective as they are in the higher levels. 9) Limp with AA to entice preflop callers and to grow the pot. |
