AQ makes 2 pair and then gets checkraised

Villian is 44/8/1.17 after 260 hands. Only note I have on him is that he donked the flop with top pair once.

The preflop raiser was fairly rockish, though over a short sample. I figured if he raised the flop donk I would get out.

Comments everywhere appreciated.

What is your definition of a donk bet? I'm not sure how you donk bet with tp pair.

Sure looks like BB was slow playing a set or hit the wheel on this. Not sure about the 3-bet on the turn, but I definately hate getting capped here. I probably call down from the turn c/r.

I bet before the last PF aggressor acted. Thus a donk bet. Donk bet doesn't necessarilly mean a stupid bet, though they usually are.

I bet before the last PF aggressor acted. Thus a donk bet. Donk bet doesn't necessarilly mean a stupid bet, though they usually are.

Ah, I use donk bet to mean someone took a shot on a scare card.

The thing about a 1.2 AF is that it looks less than it is when villian has a vpip of 44 -- this combo suggest villian is quite aggressive. So it seems he could play like this with AK. I think you have him here. I might lead the river as well and just call raise. Slightly higher EV and higher variance play. I can't fault the way you played this hand though -- it's slightly suboptimal IMO but certainly not horrible.

QQ makes sense for BB, as well as AK (which gives him TPTK on the turn explaining his aggression, although capping is still suspicious), and the latter has simply much larger probability of happening
