against jason_t (fashion advice included)
live very good game at hollywood park...
Hero is BB w K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain = jason_t = button Preflop: loose/passive limps early, terrible loose/passive raises in hijack, jason 3 bets, hero caps, early folds, i think hijack folds too, jason calls... Flop: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets, jason raises...whats my plan for the hand? |

Re: against jason_t
Hijack didn't fold -- he was all in for some odd amount of chips on the flop; jason raised the odd amount plus 3 chips.

Re: against jason_t
I'd 3b and lead the turn.

Re: against jason_t
I'd probably call and checkraise the turn, but three bet lead is fine also.

I'd probably call and checkraise the turn, but three bet lead is fine also. Jeff [/ QUOTE ] call and c/r was my 1st thought also, but jason knows how to make good folds and is more likely to call down after a flop 3b with some hands that he'd fold to the turn c/r. |

Re: against jason_t
Calldown at best. Don't put in any more raises, unless the turn goes check-check, in which case you should try to checkraise.

Re: against jason_t
I don't know about that. If OP capped preflop and then bet-three bets the flop, I think Jason T will have to put him on an overpair to the board. This will allow him to fold to a turn bet in this scenario if he has something like JJ. He might even be able to fold something like AQ since he knows and respects hero.
So say he has JJ and checks behind on turn, he will likely pay off a river bet. Or he'll bet-fold the turn to a checkraise. Either way, against many hands Jason holds, I think going for a turn checkraise is better. Also, there is the chance Jason will consider a turn checkraise to more likely be a finesse move when coming from the original poster - esp if they always play hard and know each other has game. If they usually tend to play ABC against one another, it's different. I always play hard against others so I don't know how to handle that situation...I assume they do too. Against other opponents, it could be different. Just some ramblings... Jeff |

Re: against jason_t
i'd call down. i don't see jason 3-betting a loose/passive with AQa nd with the pot headsup i doubt he'd raise JJ against a cold capper. also, i think jason should've waited for the turn with his AA or QQ
