Default Mouse problems with party poker

I'm using a logitech gaming mouse, when i run party poker I get a lag on the mouse and it's really annoying, it can result in a several second delay in my actions on occasion, this only happens when I run party poker, I have a feeling it's got something to do with party tracking mouse movements for bots or something, anybody else with the same problem out there?

It's not a problem with the mouse (I have the same mouse if you're referring to the G5) but rather Party is sucking up all your computer resources.

Yip it's the G5 Yeah i heard they're taking screenshots and tracking mouse movements to try to prevent cheating which is kind of understandable but it could also be considered to be invasion of privacy especially if it starts hogging your system, I mean I have 3 Gigs of Ram on my pc, plenty to go around by any kind of sane standard, I'd consider abandoning playing on party except it's got so much going on it can't be ignored by us online players.

2 gig ram, 3.4, newer machine, and if i open even one party table everything goes into stutter mode.

cant drag a window, etc., without it going wierd.

reinstalled the software, no help.

getting to be at wits end with party.

does anyone think that using processguard and snoopfree might be exacerbating the problem?

i think you have too much running on your computer. if you are using a few other programs plus your everyday protection stuff you may be overloaded even if doesnt look it.

people really should have a dedicated computer for onlin poker not running other things and keeping your vitals secure. computers are cheap, one mistake that costs your passwords or just slowing down and costing bets pays for a new computer.

It was fine before the last update. I also have a "new" PC and the G5 mouse.

Edit: PA Hud was the culprit for me. Used up to 70% CPU (3GHz)

Mine was fine before last update too and this just happens with party, I can have dozens of other applications open with absolutely no problems, it's just with party poker, well at least we all know now we're not alone with this problem. My best hunch is that it has to do with party tracking mouse movements

you could maybe play with the advanced setting of your mouse in control panel and tweak the sample rate and the input buffer length.

control panel - mouse - hardware - properties - advanced settings
