McManus on the opening of today's heads-up episode

At the opening of today's episode, there were quick clips of several players saying a little something. Jim McManus came on and said, "All these players here, I've knocked them out of a tournament before". Did I hear this right? Is his statement anywhere close to accurate?

I've played with this guy many times, he is from the Chicago area. I must admit when I heard he was at an Invitational event I wondered what the criteria was.

He is not on my top 25 local players list can't imagine he is nationally ranked either.
