Default Moving to vegas in need of INFO

If you are currently residing in vegas or have lived there in the past please take a quick read!

Moving to vegas for 3 months in June with my car/clothes/notebook. I'm looking for a furnished house/apartment in a safe/nice community. I'm not looking to spend anything over $2000 a month for rent, but would like to have the convienence of insuite laundry and certain luxuries.

Anyone care to point me to the right direction in terms of which district of Las Vegas or particular area of housing I should be looking at? Or even better if someone has a friend who he is a realtor there and could set me up.

Thanks!

live on the west and south side, north side is black, and east side is hispanic. White people behave themselves so stick with the nice white people on the west side. Don't live by the [censored], they think they're creative but they didn't know what a wheel was until they got imported to Europe and America.

I pay 500 a month for a decent sized room, no security depost or lease, found the place on craislist, got a pool, internet and utilities included, it's right on the intersection of eastern and flamingo, so maybe 5-7 minute drive to the strip.

I'm assuming Henderson and Summerlin are the same distance from the strip, besides that are there any notable differences between the two communities? Also how are Spring Valley and The Lakes?

I'm looking for a middle-upper class neighborhood where seeing bmws parked outside homes or driving around the block is very common if that helps at all to narrow it down.

Summerlin is SW

Henderson is SE...Green Valley Area...close to 215 which is fast to the strip (I will assume you play poker)

I would go with Henderson/Green Valley/ Seven Hills area

That'd be Green Valley.
