results?

I had AK and folded and Kirby won with 88. I was thinking later that I should be 3 betting with my entire range with the exception of JJ.

Is kirby good enough to find a fold w/a pair like 88, 99, or JJ?

I cant imagine being able to make that 3-bet in the heat of the moment. I think you are maybe being results oriented. Thats the very bottom of his range and there are so many conditions that have to be met to make this 3bet profitable. I cant imagine that Kirby has 88, 99 and UIEGA folds enough of the time for this to be worth it. Also, whats your river plan assuming a) Kirby calls turn b)UIEGA calls turn or c) both call?

Lol I would never 3-bet this spot, because you are getting called, maybe w/ his 88 you might be able to get a fold but he only has that 88-99 20% of time here, so 80% of time you are getting looked up, and assuming you are betting river and don't hit your 13% river outs you are putting in 3 BB and your equity is plain terrible here.
