Since it was against good players, I really like this.
Posters who are saying you *have* to do this or that are ignoring the fact that the pot is tiny and you have a made hand, so you have the freedom to be creative here and try and rope these guys in. Obv the river is a bet.

your thinking on the game is great. most posters dont understand this idea or give it the credence it deserves. they miss anything counterintuitive, one of the main things that seperates the great players from the merely good.

LOL! pwned. OK, I guess it doesn't only apply to new posters. But everytime I see "so I was up a rack and then this happened" or "I was running over the table and then this happened", etc I feel the welling of a girlish giggle deep in my belly and my face breaks out in an uncontrollable smile.

I know that you guys are good players.But,with all due respect,I don't like betting the river.After you have played your hand this strongly on the turn,I believe that the only call that you are likely to get will be a "crying call" from a weak A.
