Even if he won't pitch until game 5, why risk a fluke injury in the cold after sitting so long? That's what long middle relievers are for. And as I type this Joe brings up this very point.

My local guy didn't have a number, so I just bet Game One, with the intent of parlaying it throughout.

wow the guy who does MLB prop lines at the greek was really asleep at the switch this morning.
example of the carnage: rockies to win series 4-1 opened at +4050. first max bet moves the line to +4000. second max bet moves it to +2250. i guess that woke them up. i honestly think a savvy bettor could have locked in a 10% no-risk profit by picking off the best lines and arbing them elsewhere. anyway, to keep this post from going the way of BBV, one decent bet i have no further use for: Red Sox to win series 4-2, +365. 13% edge from where i stand. edit: already gone. no $100 bills lying around in the street and all that... edit 2: god bless intertops being too lazy to make their own prop lines, so they copy greek. best bet is probably boston in 7 at 7-1, 35% edge. boston in 6 at 4-1 offers a 22% edge.
