people are pushing any flush draw, sometimes overcards, and sometimes worse pairs

I remember some pretty solid CTS pokerhands from spots similar to this. This is all true, btw, and call is def fine against described player. In general, the higher the stakes the clearer the call in this spot, I think.

I really doubt much of his range at all includes 77/88, and rarely TT. It's true that this could be "any" flush draw, but most flush draws include two overcards. A "good TAG" here doesn't have AKo, and I'm not sure how in the world this is a "dream board" for our hand.

The former may be quite rare, the latter is possible, all depends on his perception of you and your range when you reraise.

Only three specific f-draw combinations have two overcards.

An actually good TAG can have a wider range here than you give him credit for, but people do misassign "good", to OP it might just mean someone that hasn't done something dumb yet and you could be right that this guy has a much thinner range here than given credit for.

While not the best board possible, its certainly on the very good end of the spectrum.

The range i have assigned to him is the range everyone seems to think he has to have (4s5s included etc).

I'd personally assign TT-AA, AsKs, AsQs to him and about 10% of some random AKo making a move with 25% equity.

I waited for other responses and i was actually surprised at how many people call here.

Yes, i think bet-fold is the line here against unknown good TAG, who doesn't know me, but i have to at least seem solid to him from my stats (i think i was something like 20/16 on that table).

I was actually tilting at the time and instacalled, but i wasn't very suprised to see that he has QQ.

This is normally a fold for me, since i am practically never ahead.Actually, for me personally, even if it's a breakeven call in the long run or even slightly +ev, i'd rather fold.

I have tilt issues and stacking off light like this would probably result in detirioration of my play further this session (and since i was already down quite a bit, possible spewage of buyin or 2).

I also noticed, that no matter, how tight you play in Nl1000, if you are a reg and people saw you make a move once or twice, they have a 3bet reflexes, they will float you, try to outplay you, pay you off with crap always putting you on busted draws etc...

So, really no need to go broke here with JJ as far as i am concerned.

QQ and better is where i felt it without a lot of second thoughts, though.

Your range is so BAD!

And if you really put him on this range, then your description of villian is off.
