You're not ahead that often. Most of his range includes bigger overpairs, and big spades which are flipping us. We only beat TT.

Are 77 and 88 really shoving here that often in position?

Also you should add a few more flushdraws to his range.

If I bet the flop I snapcall this but I think your estimate of his range is a bit off.
