I don't like preflop. I'd rather double barrel vs your postflop line.

Wow this is so bad, I hope he realizes a check on turn is for pot control and doesnt call this -ev move.

Dont like preflop with these stacks. And he is definitely calling river with any ace. Meh, find better spots to bluff.

He'd be wrong to think this, right?

Isn't it really hard for villain to call this huge overbet with just an A here?

actually, preflop is +EV in isolation and very +EV for meta precisely because of these stack sizes. there are other reasons preflop could be bad, but it is certainly not because of stack size.

double barreling is way way way better b/c you can actually get him to muck an ace, whereas here you're usually bluffing or have the nuts, and when your range is stratified like that it's easy to just close your eyes and look you up.

I hate the idea of overbetting, which transforms our range into a BDFD or 44 or bluff (without other reads), when villain's line/holdings appear(s) weak. If villain is good he will think about this and call.
