What if we check the turn? Can we call a river raise, and up to what size?

My line here at this level generally is bet like $3 flop, check behind turn, call improved rivers.

Let me understand...

Basically everyone of you agrees about the fact that she had to bet 3/4 pot or pot after the flop.

Do you agree about that cause the pair on the board it's too small to be associated with a trips of the villain, that called a raise pre-flop?

So value bet in that case, and almost in general, has to be strong in that situations (even if you almost completely miss the flop)?

[I understand the betting process that you wrote and the amount of the other bets, but not of this one]

Sounds like most everyone thinks I should have potted or bet more on the flop and then checked on the turn.

I am thinking that I should have maybe checked the flop (see what he does and call if he pots) and then if he potted the flop I check the turn and if he checked the flop I pot the turn, showing strength on the turn and then the only way he can raise me is if he has the goods. Then if he re-raised me on the turn I fold.

Does anyone agree with this possible tactic?

I think checking the flop is marginally better than betting it weakly. Betting out strong on the flop is the best line I think. Makes your other decisions easier.

Checking makes your other decisions cheaper. :P
