NL200 2 hands i messed up terribly
villain in 1st hand is leatherass9. likes to iso and squeeze and seems very creative. been multi-tabling, but he's on a lot of my tables and he stands out above every1 else.
as for the hand, i thought it was a way ahead way behind type. so i just called, then the turn came and he went into the tank for like 20 seconds. then came out with the bet. bad fold? Re: NL200 2 hands i messed up terribly
Hard to tell w/o knowng what an $8 raise means. I've played 1/2 where $12 was the standard pre flop bet. But in any case, I think the first situation was an easy fold for several reasons. I hate AJ, #1, but more important, if he's a multi-tabler, he probably had AQ or AK. Why would he waste his time with a weak hand when he could be playing another table's hand in a better situation?
The second one, I think you could have bet more with AA, maybe $15 or so. I prefer not to play or to isolate and $8 was not getting that across. Add to that a terrible flop, turn & river. How can you possibly know where you are at? I think you fold rather easily there. |

Re: NL200 2 hands i messed up terribly
1- i call vs. leather. he's a strong player and capable of making many double barrels. i would probably call a river too if not a club.
2- i think you played fine, but i think your boned by that river. |

Re: NL200 2 hands i messed up terribly
yeah i probably call vs leather on the turn in hand 1
hand 2 gotta fold the river i guess. I also would probably move tables if he was on a lot of your tables. leatherass is the best player ive played against at this level. |
