I like Stern when they were airing him on E!. Now that he's on Satellite, all I get is Opie and Anthony on the way to school. They're gold at times, and often prefer them to Stern anyways. Not great, but 1000000x better than the local hip-hop(Jam'n 94.5 Ramiro and Pebbles) and the pop (KISS 108) morning shows. Those are horrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrribbbbblllleee.

jackie wrote a TON (close to all) of the material howard did back in the day.

saying artie >>>>>>> jackie and its not even close doesn't take into account they do/did two very different jobs.

Very true. I like Artie, but I did hear that Jackie would type jokes that Howard took credit for.

I never recovered after they let Billy West go. Letting Billy go was stupidest move in the history of stupid moves. He was the final piece of the puzzle that made the show untouchably perfect IMO.

OP, I didn't like Artie on terrestrial radio either. Once they moved to satelite my opinion totally changed. I think the restrictions that were placed on the show really limited how funny he was.

To those that haven't heard stern on satelite, I highly recommend that you give it a chance. The only exception would be people who don't listen to the radio at home and don't spend much time in the car. I can't stand to listen to terrestrial radio anymore, I would rather have silence than put up with the commercials and other bs.

I saw "Beer League" last night (NetFlix).

If you like Artie, you'll love "Beer League".

You are correct. Billy West-as-Al Michaels during the whole O.J. thing was just fantastic.
