Default 100NL Facing probable light 3bet

Villain is running 26/22 over 220 hands, probably has me at 20/18 or something. This hand took place before the one in question.

Image: Villain probably sees me as a position orientated/thinking player who is more than capable of making moves.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

MP ($86.25)
Button ($100)
SB ($93.45)
Hero ($101)
UTG ($187.90)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Do you bet the flop? How much?

What is your plan on the turn?

I usually take a stab at the pot and shut down if called. Our outs might not even be clean. The pre-flop raiser doesn't follow up indicating weakness, bet it.

Why? Let me take a stab:

We don't have much FE in this spot given reads, and checking behind will gain us more information on the turn + a free card.

also your ace might be an out here

i think he might check/call with a hand like TT on this board, knowing that you're likely to shove over a lead with a ton of draws

also if he thinks you're getting fed up with him he's going to be crai a lot of hands here knowing that you're likely to

a) be calling light pf and
b) going after him a little post flop

and if he's not crai then he'll probably check turn as well

Yea its a decent spot for a 4bet. However I decided not to go crazy given the previous hand. Ultimately I decided to call because we are on the button.

I would be much more inclined to 4bet if we we OOP. Just curious how much would you 4bet to in these btn/blinds situations? I have experimented with both 4betting small and PSR. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I see the value of a free card, but I think I like leading here.

A fair amount of hero's button raising range hits that flop. In addition, what percentage of villain's made hands are checking that board, w/o the intention of a c/r?
