Damn. That was my first read (after you said how you were running). I think with this villain this is just bad luck. He'll be stacking off to you more than you're stacking off to him here.

If you want to re-examine anything, though, look at the flop. I don't think you can really fold the river as played, but your small flop raise did give him juicy implied odds.

You are beat on the turn. When players with PFA of 11.00 start checking/calling instead of betting and raising, start looking for monsters. (The same as when players with a PFA of .30 bet/3b you). I'm not sure if I am good enough to fold with confidence though.

Edit: I just read responses.

People saying to raise more on the flop are right. PSR him for value; he'll call with sets/2p/weaker straights and fold bluffs.

Yah I like a 3 bet way more then just cold calling without position and a mediocre hand at best.
