fold pf, if not fold on flop. not even close IMO

for real?

well we got 88. if we dont flop a set, overcards are likely and if we make an overpair we keep thinking does he have AA, KK, etc.

what's the best flop you can ehope for? if hero isnt comfortable playing a medium pair post flop then fold to the RR pf

I usually call here. To villain it doesn't really look like you can have a hand that can call an overbet. So I don't think he's playing an overpair etc like this. Really depends what level he's thinking on but due to the fact that he bet enough to leave someone with $1 on the turn he's probably not the most serious of players, I'd look him up.

if you ever fold this pf or on the flop...turn your chips, sunglasses, and cards in. you're done playing poker. as for the turn bet. he obv didn't hit the 4 and decide to push it. this is up to you to decide if he has larger pair. this betting pattern to me sounds like someone who hates to give up their bb. i hope you called. i'll listen for result. gl bro.

Eh, it looks exactly like an overpair to me. Sure, people will sometimes play AK/AQ this way, but often they give up after the Cbet. For every time this is someone overplaying missed overs there will be two or three where it's TT+.

ok btw i didnt mean 'not comfortable' in a bad way..

anyway, i'd say fold here with out a really strong read. I'd need something stronger to make the call here, just wait for a better hand to stack him

He has an overpair too often here. The board pairing is a good card for him since it almost eliminates 44 from your range.
