Live in Missouri, and don't see a change in the foreseeable future.

Wish the answer was different, but too many morality police greasing palms and pulling strings to insure it doesn't happen.

Yep. The liquor law predates gambling -- nobody in the state can give away booze, for any reason, ever.

Personally, I think it's kind of silly to gripe about drink prices. Home-filled flask + soda fountain = cheap buzz, and that idea works at casinos, horse tracks, sporting events, movie theaters, school plays, and the office.

As for the loss limit, they just tried again to get it removed and it was voted down. Malo & Mingo are exactly right about the morality police. They don't call it the State of Misery for nothing.
