No casinos have applied for permission to test the tables yet, a Commission spokesperson said, and no timetable has been developed for their incorporation.

More hands per hour, no dealer mistakes, no dealer tipping.

So...stay home and play on the internets? Strip away so much of what makes a live game live and what's left? Socializing with your fellow players? Sure, that's why we go play live poker...because other poker players are such great people to spend time with.

I love the electroninc poker tables. More hands per hour, no dealer mistakes, no dealer tipping. In 10 years I hope all poker is played this way and there will be no more poker dealers.

What's the rake with these machines?

Won't eliminate live AC workers altogether. They'll still need someone to go around with a bottle of cleaner and a roll of paper towels wiping the daub off the screens.

..i like the feel of real cards etc much better.

[/ QUOTE ]... and I'm sure you'll be relieved to learn that most likely anybody who "likes the feel of real cards" and is willing to pay the additional $3 - $5 per hour in tokes (plus continue to deal with dealer mistakes and the cost of dealer mistakes, plus deal with their own annoyance and the cost of their own annoyance over the dealer mistakes) also in the future will be able to choose to sit down at a poker table with real dealers and do so.
