he's asking for comics still working, not george carlin (and yes I know carlin is still working, but he's become shrill, desperate, and irrelevant).

i don't know how much of their material you'll be able to find on DVD, but there's certainly plenty of CDs floating around the internet.

If you can find it...there is a video called Dirty Dirty Jokes. It was hosted by Redd Foxx...had 6 or 7 acts on it.
(circa 1984-85 I think) def worth checking out.
Dice Clay was on it pre fame and some other good stuff

Buddy Hackett another good oldie

Lenny Bruce's bit "how to entertain your black friends at parties" is a great bit you can find on Lime wire

eddie izzard sucks.
dane cook was funny for like 5 minutes until his whole deal was to do the same thing over and over.
