Bull poo. Discussing the people found in mid limit games is as important as discussing the cards.

this is regarding a hand i recently posted: (villain shoots an angle...)

You land vertebrates are all the same. Guys who do this are never good players and it's my opinion most of 'em are prime candidates for tilt. You need to taunt him unmercifully. Tell him he's a loser and you're going to take all his money and spend it on naked pictures of his sister.

villain sounds like al (40's, looks Filipino with a mustache, some times wears sunglasses). he mostly plays 15/30 but once in awhile will play 30/60. this guy has done that to me before, he's garbage, never trust what he says.

[/ QUOTE ]

he is one of my least favorite people in that place. that said, i love him in my game as he is simply horrible.

The best way to avoid this is by doing what you should do on every hand. Make the players in the pot roll when they're suppossed too.

When a guy says "I've got....." just say "I called you. Show the hand please."

I had a NL hand where a guy had pushed AI on me on the turn and I had the nuts on the river. I waited for him to roll first. I got a look from one of the players and I said to the guy next to me "I didn't slow roll the guy. Even if I have the nuts, I called him so he shows first. As soon as he does, I do. There's a difference."

I want to see what guys are pushing on / raising with. Whether I'm in the hand or not. You roll the winner, the guy mucks without showing and you miss info.

OTOH, if a guy taps the table and says "You're good", I put a tip on my cards like I've won and wait for the pot. If I have to show to win, then he either mucks or shows. His choice.

You have to be kidding. You're 1000% wrong if you think wanting guys to roll in the order they should is douchey.

What's douchey is when guy's abuse the rule and ask to see a calling hand just to see what he called with. They don't think there's any collusion, just wonder.

BTW - ever been slow rolled by a guy who said "You're good?
