Re: Help! Proposing to GF in Vegas, need ideas.

I saw go for the gondola ride at the Venetian or the Bellagio fountains. I proposed to my wife at Disney World. Slightly different but we were married in Vegas. [/ QUOTE ] Are you guys for real? You think he should propose on a fake gondola on what amounts to a "set" in a casino? Here's the first tip: Don't propose to your wife in Vegas. And for the Disney proposal, did you have kids out of wedlock? I mean, why else would two adults be at Disney World? |

Here's the second tip: don't listen to otnemem.
I'm a woman, and I think it'd be great if my BF proposed to me in Vegas. A few of the ideas so far have been good. Just remember to make it romantic. Fine if other people are watching, too. It would be fun to have an audience, and it always makes people happy. Plus, you might get a few glassess/bottles of champagne sent your way. Remember, again, to get down on one knee. |

Re: Help! Proposing to GF in Vegas, need ideas.
I was planning on taking my wife to Red Rock and proposing there, but I ditched that, and instead proposed while she was looking out on the Strip/Bellagio fountains while the sun was setting from our hotel room. She was half naked when I did it, too. Very poor planning, but she said "yes" anyway.

IMO Alize and the Eiffel Tower Restaurant(overlooking the Bellagio fountains) have the best/most romantic views in the city.
Eiffel Tower is a somewhat more tourist-y. You wouldn't go wrong having dinner and proposing in either place. Good Luck!!! let us know how it goes. |

If you propose in public - get pictures.
I proposed in Vegas. It is a fun place to do it. We met a few nice people and were chatting/getting to know eachother. I started telling our new friends how my girl and I met and about our relationship, etc. I then asked one of the women if she would take a picture of us. As soon as I handed her the camera(and made sure she knew how to use it) I turned and got down on one knee and proposed. We wound up with two dozen candid photos of the moment that are absolutely priceless. |

Re: Help! Proposing to GF in Vegas, need ideas.
Congratulations on the most likely engageent, but anyone else find it funny that someone is asking for romantic advise from a bunch of degenarate poker players(i'm obviously talking about myself as well).
I say do it after a bad beat at the poker table, yell "CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT SH*T, oh and by the way, honey, you want to spend the rest of our live together, IF ONLY THESE DONKEYS WOULD LEARN TO PLAY POKER!!" - Bonus points the closer you get to Hellmuthian ranting... obviously this is a joke |

Nothing would be as romantic as a Taxi Cab Confessions proposal!
Seriously, I like the gondola ride idea best. |

You better write a trip report when you get back. Include photos.
