There's problem with stating something like "Get paid to play poker", or even mentioning that it's rake free in a TV commercial in the US. The ads won't be run. All the sites now need to run ads for .net versions of their sites and make a disclaimer that "this is not a gambling site, play money only". It's the only way to get on the air.

They just can't use the "we pay you" angle to advertise a play money site. They can do that to convert you after you sign up for a play money account.
