Re: KK in small stake NL Tourney
Preflop: 150 or call/allin (let go on scary multiway flop if no allin pf)
After your pf: bet pot flop and bet 2/3 pot turn, give yourself chance to run. But at $1 tournaments I guess its not realy a big thing. Those are my ideas. Are they correct? |

Re: KK in small stake NL Tourney
the rule on these forums is not too include results with original post( tends to cloud peoples responses)
the all in turn bet was terrible, your only getting called by 2 pair, a set, or a completed str8.the turn seven is a very scary card as it completes a sr8. think about it, what was villian calling flop with?. throw a block bet out there and fold to a raise. villians stack size and reads would be really cool! |

Re: KK in small stake NL Tourney
raise more pf and dont just shove your chips in. He's prob calling on a draw and this card is scary. All you can beat is a pure bluff or by some miracle he is betting with A10 for all his chips. Anything could happen in these things though

Re: KK in small stake NL Tourney
call/allin - I dont know if I can write it like this, but by it I meant call pf (opting for a raise) and move allin pf if smn raises.
If noone raises be ready to fold flop or later. Pot flop is standard, 2/3 turn explained by fuzz66. |

Re: KK in small stake NL Tourney
I like the way this is played. It's a 1 dollar tourney, literally ull see T8, JT, QT all day in a raised pot. I also like the flop bet, actually overbetting the flop your more often than not making ur opponent make a mistake in calling. After he calls I wudnt go all in tho. Bet around 800 and if he shoves your likely beat. Still villain played this like a donk.

Re: KK in small stake NL Tourney
i disagree. heroes raise from early position narrows his range(1010-AA...AKo, AKs).a lot of good players will call here with marginal hands against weaker opponants with big stacks because of the huge implied odds and the difficulty for weaker players to get off big hands. the overbet on the flop was suspiciuos, villan had med. pair, overcard, backdoor str8 with the possibility of drawing dead non-existant.once again, calling the flop based on huge implied odds against heros range. maybe im giving villian more credit than he deserves, but i cant say his play was wrong.
