Default ATo

I should have folded this preflop. But I just sat down and wanted to get in a hand. That being the case I have no reads on the other players at all. Which should be another argument for folding this PF. I'm thinking that betting this river was a pretty bad move. I put my opponent on either a smaller pair or a draw. Anyway here's the hand:

pf is super standard, but "I just sat down and wanted to get in a hand." is a huge leak.

check the river. what worse hand can call?

since you didn't, fold.

Everything is standard up to the river. Just check behind here, no worse hand is calling.

I don't see how this is anything other than a call PF w/o reads on the two limpers.

Regardless of what we do PF, leading the flop and turn is good.

I think you have to fold to the raise on the river. I don't think he's bluff raising here anywhere close to 10% of the time.

Value and isolation.

ATo is likely the best hand against two limpers. We want to fold out the players behind us, partly because we want position on the limpers, and partly because ATo can win UI against two players.

I would have played conservative and check/called the river in this situation.

Hero folds. At this point all you are beating is a bluff.I think you should have checked behind on the river.

ATo is likely the best hand against two limpers in a 25c/50c game but if one wants to come up with a reason that this isnt a raise then that argument would need to include reads that the limpers are really tight and nitty such that our range sucks versus theirs. We want to fold out the players behind us, partly because we want position on the limpers, and partly because ATo can win UI against two players.
