Plus Webber could probably teach a few things to Andrew Bynum and Kwame Brown, don't you think? Just his presence would be a plus.

Is C-Webb going to be demanding 20 mil a year as before? If so who cares...

Naw, he'll sign for a few million, to fit under the cap. He's not playing for the money these days.

I think C Webb. can still be productive if he is on the right team. Philly was just bad because you are expecting him to be your second offensive option behind AI. He needs a team like the Pistons where he is just another guy. In Detroit there really is no go to guy, no first option. They basically just ball and find the open man or the hot man. In this type of set up I think Chris can thrive. He will have zero pressure. If he is smart, I think he will come to Detroit. Not to mention, I see the team accepting him with open arms as he has many friends on the team.

C-Webb would get eaten alive at center. Opposing teams would spread the floor and drive on him. High screens and pick and rolls all day.

He'd be undersized, so opposing centers would easily post him up. But why do you think screen and rolls would bother him? He'd be quicker than the average center, no?

He would be an interesting fit in L.A.

But he'd likely take more of a supporting role and probably receive a lesser salary than he used to have. If he can accept that, then it's cool.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL..probably?

Am I wrong to think he would make the Lakers a much better team

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes. Luke Walton does everything he does but better. Webber is immobile, can't shoot, and has no D. Maybe for 15 or 20 minutes a game at most.

[/ QUOTE ]Webber rebounds and passes better imo.

Webber is shooting under 40% from the field, lmao. He's a more efficient scorer and a way way way better defender. Check the PERs.
