Basically, "don't bloat the pot" is a mostly academic concept. In the real world of micro-limit hold'em, if you act like you never heard the term "bloating the pot" and always bet/raised the current street for maximum value, you'd rarely if ever be making too big of a mistake.

Yeah, you're probably right at this limit. I brought it up because I thought the flush draw was tainted after reading the whole hand. My mistake.

I wouldn't dismiss it from all micro limits though. When you get to tables with mostly booked players (e.g. FTP/UB $.5/1 & $1/2) this is a good concept to consider.

*grunch*

Flop and preflop is standard.

Flop is a cap here, this is a pair w/ an A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] more times then AA so I feel that you are still ahead of the range.
Everything plays differently from here.

As Played once the UTG leads out (showing that the Clubs didn't slow him down) and the Button raises (who was calling all the way down) I find a fold here while banging the mouse on the desk.

Im curious what others think about this but I think we were good till the 4th [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] came.

I'd rather lead the river and fold to two more than check and fold to two cold, DUCY?

Weaker [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]s, sets, 2 pairs, etc etc will call u and the raiser could have something like the Q: or J: giving you even more bets.........

If you check out, then the first better can have the "same" hand as he had, and the raiser will certainly have a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], but prolly not the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], making you fold the best hand....

howz that?

That, and I don't think anybody's three-betting this without A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or 54[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
