Re: J8 call down
I would lead the flop. No one has shown any aggresion why do you try to trap them? The c/r blows up the pot, you hold a marginal hand OOP. I dont like it.
The rivercard is scary would you have called another bet? |

Re: J8 call down
I would lead the flop. I don't think we have enough of a hand to put in 2 more bets from the turn, and we don't have enough outs, so to call we have to hope he has a worse hand and checks behind the river a small portion of the time. I don't think this is worth it, sometimes he'll have you reverse dominated, and I think someone who 3 bets the flop with a draw is gonna bluff the river so we often can't win that way.

Re: J8 call down
This hand is massively overplayed IMO. I see no reason to c/r the field on the flop with 2nd pair bad kicker. Playing this aggro in tiny pots is a serious leak IMO.
Turn is a c/f. River is definetely a c/f. I would either bet out on the flop or try and c/r if the villain in position will bet if checked to. If I try to check/raise I would just c/c when the guy in the middle bets and gets 1 caller. |
