Re: blackjack question
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Is this a well-known system? Is it successfull in the long run? [/ QUOTE ] Look up the term "Martingale"...and no, it eventually leads to ruin. [/ QUOTE ] everyone i go with this thinks this and loses big each time once stuck... if no table limit and a billionaire then yes it applies [/ QUOTE ] If I was smart enough to become a billionaire then I would not waste my time playing blackjack using a progression scheme. |

Re: blackjack question
[ QUOTE ]
Like all things in life -- you need to weigh the potential outcomes. If your desire to gain over time is small -- your bankroll is large -- and your aversion to risk is minimal -- this may be fun for you. To most of us, it's hard to see how all of these desires converge -- because rationally they appear contradictory. Mathematics says you will lose -- eventually. Mathematics also says you will die by driving a car -- eventually. Without mathematics we know we will die ... certainly. Weigh these factors how you will -- it's a very personal thing. [/ QUOTE ] The OP was asking if this was a winning system. There are methods to win at blackjack, but this is not one of them. You will still lose. |
