I would have probably considered the thread worth reading in OOT but not in another forum. Weird huh?

re: being inconsistent and not moving other threads. this was the only one on the front page at the time i moved it. i don't read 2p2 24/7 like some of you do. chill out.

[/ QUOTE ]

the three threads i mentioned all had ~100 replies at the time i made this thread and were all recent making them some of the most popular threads of the week.

it hardly takes 24/7 reading to see any one of those three.

[/ QUOTE ]

i guess i'm just not up to date on the current trends!

the mortgage thread was on the first page when i woke up so i moved it

Please stop ruining good threads by moving them to low traffic forums.

Thanks,

That is retarded. It was an interesting thread and it should have stayed in OOT. 2+2 as a whole is really going down hill and OOT is leading the trend.

if you guys are so interested in discussing this topic perhaps you can bring more traffic to the forum specifically devoted to the topic. evil NT, trying to encourage traffic in the smaller forums.

That thread had no business in making money and business and it doesn't have any business in finance either. No "ask me" thread should go into any forum other than OOT. The point and beauty of the "ask me" threads is that you can expose a general audience to a specialized topic. These threads need the high volume of traffic that OOT gets to properly stimulate discussion. That thread dies anywhere other than OOT but if allowed to stay in OOT, it would flourish. Even if there is an argument to move the thread (however misguided) there is no valid argument to lock it once an administrator moves it back to OOT.

I would hope that the good ones, like the mortgage thread, have a place in oot. Especially when they are so well received and manage to live near the top of the forum for 48+ hours.

jt, stabn: I agree.

NT: Moving good threads out of OOT seems, well, strange.
