i agree you don't need avatars to see boobs, but what fascinates me about avatars is their unexpectdness

for example, when i'm working, and i'm doing a literature search, i will never come across a random boob in the middle of the page, ever....

however, when i'm looking at strat forums, and being somewhat "serious", trying to learn and all that, i will sometimes scroll across a random boob.... i find it extremely titillating.

When I quick scan a thread, avatars are huge. I cannot imagine having them off.
