LIKE I SAID, LEAD PIPE LOCK.

Ummm....

Either our o-line played like crap (and not really Pork Chop, more the right side) or Detroit's D-line is good.

Early on they checked to a run on 3rd and 7 like inside the 30. That got stuffed setting up a field goal that was blocked. Do not like that call at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

You watch any preseason? Where our 1st team offense struggled thorugh most of it? Seems it kind of carried into the regular season now. This was a 1/2 assed Detroit team they barely beat. Hass seemed to be running for his life. O-line is questionable now.

MVP critique: I loved Alexanders pussy-block when D-Jack was reversing the field. God forbid he throws his shoulder into a block. Reminds me of the effort Deion Sanders used in trying to make a tackles.

The D seems to be the main strength right now. Damn they look good. Playing tight and fast. Cheap call on Babineaux for the late hit. But that might make up for the possible non-flag on Hamlin.

Might be a long first part of the season.

Agreed. I just hope our O-Line can pull together. If they don't, we could be in a real dogfight for the NFC West. I can't see how this O-Line just collapses like that from the best unit in the NFL last year, even without Hutch.

The Lions D isn't bad and I was frankly mildly surprised they didn't win outright. +6 was ez money.

(this assumes you can use each team only once)

It's a 12 team pool (around 12) and I have picked a separate team for each week up to Week 12 or so. Frankly, I don't trust Arizona.

I'm curious who you took week 3. As far as I can tell, there is no clear choice that week. Maybe Philly @SF? Was @Hou? But they're both road games. There does not seem to be a big home favorite. Week 3 looks to be a very tough week and I foresee a lot of people being eliminated.

[/ QUOTE ]

When I first picked the games, I had Miami, but I'll have to see how they look against Buffalo before making a decision.

After seeing Culpepper suck so hard, I no longer feel comfortable taking Miami next week. I have no idea who I'll take.
