well, this is getting hi-jacked, but whatever.

The most recurring guests on his show are fellow reporters and journalists. White House Correspondent, whoever's covering a recurring story, editor at TIME or Newsweek or whatever. His military expert is Barry McCaffrey, who's not exactly what I'd call a liberal.

The closest thing he gets to really having anyone political on his show will be guys like Sam Seder, Arianna Huffington or Rachel Maddow, but he's also had Pat Buchanan on as many times as Huffington.

You are pretty foolish.

You didn't hear him making political comments on SC, or during his dugout/sideline reports during baseball post-season games, did you?

[/ QUOTE ]

I hate the guy, so I probably didn't watch his baseball stuff. I watch his MSNBC show a few minutes here and there for the entertainment value.

BTW..why am I only "pretty" foolish? Why not just "foolish." If hating Olbermann is pretty foolish, than I do plead guilty. Watch his MSNBC show and count the times he ever allows someone with an opposing view on. You might have to watch a long time.

[/ QUOTE ]

OK, in hindsight you are much worse than pretty foolish.
You actively watch his political show while hating his politics, but you "probably" didn't watch the baseball playoffs when he was with Fox because you hate the guy? You sound like you're an idiot, especially with your "pretty" nonsense.

I like his MSNBC show. I take it all the people who love O'Reilly and Rush are the ones who are saying it's terrible?

I loved Olbie on SC....seriously, your a communist if you didn't love him and Patrick on Sportscenter back in the day. Regardless of what you may or may not think of his MSNBC show, that time kicked ass.

this belongs in politics

but, I hate Olbermann and I also hat O'reilly. They are so close to being the same that it's scary. Sure, they are on different ends of the spectrum, but they use the same horrible tactics.

I also hate both of their world views and I think they make the world a worse place.

I had no idea that we Olbermann fans were such a vast minority.

He will be like; Young faked the linebacker out just like Bush did the American people to get us in Iraq.

But for real I think he will do a good job.

OK, please tell me when Olbermann has ever:

- Said a kidnapped child "liked" being with his captor
- Threatened someone who disagreed with him by saying they'll be visited by security
- Blamed a woman for ever getting raped and murdered
- Advocated the destruction of an American city
- Continuously confused a Nazi massacre of Americans with a American massacre of Nazis.
- Advocated the arrest of someone you disagree with as traitors.

Or anything like this.

Hell, I understand thinking he's a pompous ass or whatever, but the vile, hateful crap O'Reilly is comparable to few people.

I think Olberman tries to be funny more than he should. I find him kind of annoying.

LOL Olbermannments.

Im sure holocaust survivors agree that O'Reilly is worse then Hitler himself.

I would be really surprised if Olbermann couldn't keep politics out of the already crappy NBC pre-game show.
