Re: Explain?
Easy to explain.
Lotsa gamboool at FTP HS-PLO. If you are interested in learning the game by watching online PLO I suggest watching small - mid stakes. If not.. you gonna have lot of these "huh???" moments. |

Re: Explain?
OP, you need to use 3(three cards exactly) from the board, and 2 (two cards exactly) from your hand. These 5(five cards total) make up what we know and love as a poker hand.
As you now know, Hiirim did not have a straight. |

ElRazor can you explain your thoughts on the turn action please? [/ QUOTE ] My guess is that he had a read on Paras that he would attack sudden weakness. So ElRazor went for the ole' check raise with a decent hand with a great redraw. NH If ElRazor always cont bet the flop and then checked unimproved on the turn, it would be easy to exploit this. It is important to keep your opponents guessing. |

Re: Explain?
elrazor or any decent player knows that villan cant call the flop with a hand that beats elrazors hand. the turn cant possibly be a card that all of a sudden beats elrazors hand. there was probably history between elrazor and villan and elrazor knew that villan would bite on the turn. its either that or villan is terrible.
regardless, elrazor has a hand that still has plenty of outs to the nuts. personally, i think a good player checks behind on turn.......villan played it terrible. |

ElRazor can you explain your thoughts on the turn action please? [/ QUOTE ] the table was very taggy, so much so that i considered moving before i won a couple of decent hands to give me a big stack. after that i opened my game up slightly and was playing the typical 'agro big stack game' which wasnt so much to actually win pots then and there as to set up a situation exactly like this. as i c-bet pretty much 100% against a single opponent, BB could easily have pegged me on air here and figured his tens were good and he had a redraw if they are not. this is kind of a standard play for me - it wins me alot of big pots, it gets all the money in when im ahead, removes any tricky river decisions and observant opponents will never know where they are at on the turn |

ElRazor can you explain your thoughts on the turn action please? [/ QUOTE ] Flip-Flop, did this really puzzle you? I'm not patronising you but that is the ONLY play Elrazor can make. Top 2 and nut-redraw...I can't get my money in fast enough. If he's woken up with a set, so be it and you have outs. And like Elrazor said, if you're playing aggro on the flop, you can be assured that your villains probably won't be matching up to you with their best holdings assuming ELrazor is firing at a lot of flops with a wide range. This happens a lot HU. Oftentimes you get to a point where your opp. is so frustrated with your aggroness that they get it in way too light. Major benefits of playing a non-nitty game at PLO. |
