Just want to point out something I'm not sure everybody has thought of. We love getting it all in vs a higher fd on this flop, as long as it's HU.

[/ QUOTE ]

We'd obviously rather them fold...but you're right in that it's still highly +EV if they call.

I'm not saying you have to. What I'm arguing for is that raising is +EV. What I'm also arguing for is that calling (as played) is potentially hugely negative implied odds.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree with this 100%. In addition to giving us poor reverse implied odds, it turns our hand face up ,greatly reducing implied odds as well.

No, we'd rather they fold.

[/ QUOTE ]
Obviously, but that doesn't contradict what I just said because it makes us tons of money.

dunno why noone has noticed this, but if you just call and UTG shoves, you're priced in to call anyway, so better shove yourself to leverage some FE and earn some sick g-bucks!

UTG is the one who minraised, if hero calls the flop it closes the action.

This hand is insane. The only card you're really comfortable seeing is a non heart 7. Button probably has broadway hearts, and UTG is probably a donk. If you push and get called on both places, you probably only have 3 outs. With that said I'd still prob 3 bet to like 120 and push any turn.

Well, yeah if both our hands are face up as 98hh and a higher flush draw then it is +EV for both of us to get it in with the dead money there. If he folds though he has made a fundamental mistake making it a very profitable play for us.

Yea we're on the same page here. It just seemed like some poster thought getting it all-in vs a fd would be bad, considering our hand as a draw not realising we're ahead against another fd having since we have a pair.

It's a FD+pair, not FD+SD. I made the same mistake initially.
