A shove is a bit of an overbet if you look at stack sizes. Also what range do you put the villian that cold called on?

God I hate shoving here. We are going to get called a lot and then we are going to be a substantial dog. I just call the minraise.

Huh? We can't ever be a substantial dog here unless we're up against bigger hearts which a shove might get them off of anyways. I might agree w/ calling if we have position...but shoving seems like the only play here to me. Maybe I'm missing something?

Substantial is an overstatement but we're likely about 40:60 against a reasonable calling range. This is for $270 a lot remember.

I like a call aswell, lets us get away cheap when we miss. Shoving is obv EV+ aswell though
