fold. you beat nothing here. Only crappy Q's and maybe KJ, 89 and hands like AK, but would he do this with that since you got no reads that he likes to call down with crappy draws and bluff them on the river?

Call. If villain plays solid, AQ is the only hand that beats you. KQ and QJ are possible. KJ as a bluff.

fold. you've shown strength and I find it hard to believe villain thinks he can bluff here.

Call... he check calls, then check calls, then leads on a 3???

This line is either a hand that was made on the river, or a missed draw. Sometimes it will be a slow played set, but it's not a very good line for that.

It's a monster or a missed draw... if he is quickly check/calling flop and turn, then it is almost always a missed draw.

Tricky, you have to be good about 30% of the time to make a call correct. Another benefit of a call is that you get a better read on villain.

Hmz, I guess missed draws could do this, but it's only KJ and J9 here. Maybe QK and AQ to, and two pairs and sets. Uhh, I think it's close, but when I'm thinking about it a fold is probably best against an unknown. I would hate to fold though, and in the heat of the battle I probably call.

[/ QUOTE ]this board has 1 straight draw on it and a possible backdoored FD to go along with it...not near drawy enough for me to snap off a near pot sized river lead with TPGK without a really good read.
